Figure 7.3 - Keyframe types
You must choose the keyframe type based on the kind of animation data
needed for a project. The keyframe type has a direct relation to the
property you are animating.
For instance, if you are trying to animate a rotation, you will create a
keyframe using the Rotation keyframe type. In case you want to make a
rotation and scale animation at the same time, you can use the RotScale
keyframe type.
The keyframe type selection only appears when you are creating
keyframes in the 3D Viewport.
Another way to insert keyframes to objects is with a right-click on the 3D
Viewport. Using the Context menu, you can choose "Insert keyframe…"
to add keyframes (Figure 7.4).
